The Waldorf School of Philadelphia offers an early childhood summer camp for children ages 3 to 6. The camp is run by faculty of The Waldorf School of Philadelphia for seven weeks starting June 11th to July 20th.

Shakespeare’s magniloquent and farcical display of pyrotechnic wordplay.
In the Kingdom of Navarre, the lord of the land, his two best friends, and all their male courtiers vow to forego female companionship, feasting, and sleep! So, naturally, three gorgeous and quick-witted French noblewomen arrive that same day. WHAT NOW?
Join us to find out, but in fairness to performers and audience and little ones alike, please leave children who aren’t in the grade school (ours and other grade schools) at home. Doors open at 6.30 p.m. The Cheltenham Arts Center is located at 439 Ashbourne Road in Cheltenham.
There is no charge for the show, but donations will be appreciated . Concessions will be on sale from the Class of 2013.
Congratulations to Sarah Cornelius, WSP Class of 2010, who was awarded a full scholarship to Phillips Academy Andover, a top-ranked prep school in Massachusetts. Sarah is a sophomore at Central High School in Philadelphia where she has maintained a 4.0 GPA for the past two years. She will complete her high school education at Andover. Sarah attended WSP from kindergarten through 8th grade. Congratulations Sarah!

November 2011, following The New York Times feature on Waldorf Education, Karen Hepp from Fox 29 News visited The Waldorf School of Philadelphia.
Hepp interviewed teachers, parents, parents and students during her visit. She was particularly captivated by the beauty and quiet hum of the Early Childhood classrooms, and curious about the grade school curriculum that does not include the use of computers. At last the moment is here! The Whispering Wood opens tomorrow, Friday 9th December at 11.00 a.m. Here is a preview of what’s in store.
The Whispering Wood is located at Greene & Carpenter, at the Weavers Way Co-op intersection in Mt Airy. Opening hours are Friday 11-8, Saturday and Sunday 9-5. Â The store will re-open at its permanent location on Tuesday, 13th December at The Waldorf School of Philadelphia.
Tomorrow evening at 7.00 p.m. visitors will be treated to a performance by The Waldorf School of Philadelphia Choir. We hope to see as many of our friends as possible, if not on Friday evening then sometime across the weekend.
