Coffee and Conversation.
A lively discussion series on topics of particular interest to parents. The series includes talks on such topics as the importance of outdoor play, development in young children, anthroposophic perspectives on health and illness, family relationships and homeopathy.
Parent Association.
All parents are invited to join PA Co-Conveners Anna Mazurkiewicz-Munoz and Jim Brannon for Parent Association Meetings. The PA meeting is the place to get updated school information, start a discussion, and make your voice heard.
Parent Study.
Join this parent-led, reading and discussion group that focuses on Waldorf-inspired articles and books. Learn about the Waldorf curriculum, the philosophy underlying it, creative approaches to parenting and anything between. Contact WSP Parent, Donna DiStefano for questions at (215) 226-3688. Aftercare services will be available without charge to participants; however, you must register your child (if not already registered) in the school office. For recommended reading about Waldorf Education follow this link http://www.phillywaldorf.com/reading-list
Parent Handwork.
Group or personal work with wools, knitting, crocheting, sewing and other handmade crafts. Beginners and advanced participants share advice and ideas. Informal atmosphere and great snacks and conversation. Every Friday @ 8.30 a.m. – 10.00 a.m. in the Applied Arts Wing
