		<description><![CDATA[Thanks for this very cogent explanation of the Waldorf approach to reading. I have been able to observe the &#039;building blocks&#039; of reading that started in first grade (which is when she started at WSP), and now in second grade the fruits of those efforts are coming forth as she, in a mix of wonder and pride, has started to read and is often practicing on her own.  I can&#039;t honestly say that I wasn&#039;t anxious - but I am so happy to see a growing love of reading in her; not simply the ability but a true desire to read.]]></description>
