Spring Fundraiser: A Community Quilt, The Philadelphia Modern Quilt Guild

This stunning quilt was made by the members of The Philadelphia Modern Quilt Guild as a “thank you” to our school for use of meeting space.  We are raffling the quilt off on June 5.  Not only do you have the chance to win a gorgeous, hand-crafted quilt for display or to use as a bedspread, but this is a one-of-a-kind quilt made by all of the members of the Guild.  This is not something that they have ever done before.

Holiday Fair and Craft Bazaar

Held each November, the annual Waldorf Holiday Fair and Craft Bazaar offers magical children’s activities, delicious home-made food, live music and a wonderful opportunity for holiday shopping from juried artisans including unique ceramics; hand-made adult and children’s clothing and accessories; gifts for the home; hand-printed stationery, albums and notebooks; mouthwatering hand-made chocolates and irresistible soaps and lotions; jewelry, and the best local selection of handmade, natural toys.
