Employment Opportunities
The Waldorf School of Philadelphia
welcomes employment inquiries from qualified candidates for positions
posted below.
The Waldorf School of Philadelphia began
in 1996 with 30 children and two teachers in a church basement. Today we
are situated on a spacious campus in the Mount Airy section of the
city. We now have five kindergarten/nursery programs, eight grades, a
full program of special subjects including handwork, woodwork, clay
modeling, Spanish, German for the upper grades, music and Eurythmy. We
have a supportive parent community, a knowledgeable and mutually
encouraging faculty, and a dedicated administrative team working to
insure that all goes smoothly in the classroom. Nearby neighbors include
the Kimberton Waldorf School, several Anthroposophic medical providers,
and two Camphill communities.
If you can imagine being part of a school,
nestled in a city, with the possibility of seeing deer and hawks outside
the windows; a city whose history includes Ben Franklin, William Penn,
the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution; a city rich with
historical, educational and cultural attractions such as the Liberty
Bell, the Rodin Museum and the Franklin Institute, then we want to hear
from you.
